Coloring your Virgin Hair: Tips

 Hi Starlets!!!!
So we get asked all the time about coloring virgin hair. First, let me once again remind you all that purchasing virgin hair only means that the hair is in its most natural state. The hair has never been colored, relaxed, or chemically treated to alter its texture. Its like a child's hair. To answer the question "Can I color the hair?", YES! Of course you can color the hair. Here are a few tips below you may use to color your hair:
  1. Allow a professional to color your hair. Your new virgin hair should be treated with care. Just like your own. If you do not trust yourself to color your own hair, we would not recommend doing your extensions at home.
  2. If you are going with a complicated color (anything other than jet black), and you need to lift the hair, we suggest using a low volume developer. You do not want to over process the hair. Using a high volume developer and doing it incorrectly could leave your hair hard and dry. A 20-30 is a good start. Anything higher should be used by a professional only.
  3. Use good products!
***Remember that color can change the texture of your hair. It may not, but it can.***
